X5 – a new distribution center in the South of Russia

It seems it wasn't so long ago when X5 Retail Group N.V. declared their plans to expand the warehouse spaces in the south of the country and here we got an information about a formal ceremony of a new logistic complex of the highest class in the Aksaysky District (Rostov Oblast). The new distribution center is the part of the 100 investment governor's projects in the Rostov Oblast list. The opening ceremony was visited by the minister of economic development of the Rostov Oblast, Levchenko Alexander, and also by heads of The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being, The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance. The distribution center occupies the territory over 30 thousand sq. m. Thanks to the newest equipment and systems of automation this warehouse complex will be able to construct more than two hundred cars with freight per day. About six hundred employees are registered as a staff. The complex will serve retail chain freights the Pyaterochka which started actively extend in the District. Because of the Pyaterochka X5 Retail Group N.V. decided to start the expansion. On June 30th in the Stavropol Krai, Krasnodar Krai and in the Rostov Oblast there were 243 supermarkets. ► Watch our videos on different topics: |
