Built-to-suit projects, beneficial both for the developers and the tenants, are on the rise in Kiev region, Ukraine. Low vacancy rate of class A warehousing facilities in Ukraine was supposed to increase lease rates a long time ago; still, they remained stable for quite a while. Still, signing an agreement on a construction stage can be very beneficial.

According to the information of DTZ company in Ukraine, a total of 135 000 square meters of class A warehousing facilities appeared on Kiev warehousing market in 2013, indicating a 25.5% increase in comparison with 2012. However, lease and sales transaction rate is still low.

Experts believe that this situation will remain unchanged up till the middle of this year. However, present political situation in Ukraine may change not only its warehousing market, but the entire country as well. Right now, it is still impossible to say how the investment projects are going to be initiated, developed, and regulated.
