Zavolzhsk motor factory is creating an industrial park on its territory. As a part of this project, a contract with a new resident, German company Flaig+Hommel Grouppe, has been signed. The Germans intend too manufacture automotive details on the purchased territory. Since Zavolzhsk motor factory is one of the Flaig+Hommel major consumers, this contract will be highly significant for both parties. Flaig+Hommel Grouppe will become the fourth resident of the new industrial complex.

At the moment bearing part manufacturer "Daido Metal Rus", A/V components enterprise Trelleborg Automotive and LEONI, cable and optic lines company, already occupy some of its territory. Zavolzhsk motor factory is one of the Russian leaders in the production of combustion engines. It produces more than 80 types of engines that fully meet the requirements of modern ecological safety standards. The engines are designed for cars and buses of three major Russian automotive companies: UAZ, Pavlov Bus and GAZ.
