Earlier its area equalled 206 ha, and will now equal 502 ha. The area of the industrial park in Georgievsk will also be doubled from 54 ha to 106 ha. In addition to this, there is a plan for creating an industrial park in the regions center on Kolomitseva street. As the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropolsky Region announces, modern pharmaceutical, bio-technical, and food manufacturing facilities will be placed in the new industrial park. Only 11 industrial parks are active in the region, in which factories are manufacturing building materials, food and agricultural goods, pharmaceutical and chemical products, etc.

The coordinating council for the development of investment activities for Stavropol has agreed to a series of decisions regarding the development of already existing industrial parks and the creation of new industrial parks in the region. The borders of the industrial park in Nevinnomyssk will be extend to be twice as large.
