The index of industrial manufacturing in the Kursky region will grow in this year due to the realization of several investment projects. In March of this year in Voroshnevo the commissioning process began for a metal construction factory for high-tech agricultural greenhouses. In June Kurskmedsteklo factory started a line of manufacturing for glass tubes based on international standards, removing the dependency on imports for this product in the Russian medical and pharmaceutical segments.

By the end of 2012 additional lines for ampule manufacturing will begin working. As a result of the implementation of new lines and technologies, Kurskmedsteklo and its 200 employees might be able to issue a higher quantity of products than when it had 700 employees.The construction of Technologies and Systems for Water Purification, a company, is continuing on the territory of Mashinostroitel factory. Manufacturing facilities for solvents are being constructed in the Manturovsky region. A deep modernization is continuing, as is the creation of new manufacturing facilities at Kurskkhimvolokno, Pharmstandart-Lekarstvo, Pribor, as well as at other companies.
