BelarusBank and the State Development Bank of China will expand its collaboration.

bbA delegation from the Chinese bank made an official visit to Belarus on August 10th. The goal of the visit to BelarusBank was to determine the perspective of further cooperation. The banks decided that they will take part in financing the construction of a Sino-Belorussian industrial park. Joined trade and project financing will also be expanded. Employees of the two banks will fulfill internships with a general focus. BelarusBank confirmed its leadership on the Belorussian securities market in July 2012.

According to the sum and amount of deals, the bank became the leading broker on the secondary stock market. It is also the leading operator on the over-the-counter securities market. The Sino-Belorussian industrial park will be constructed in Belorus. It should create 600,000 jobs and will be oriented on housing both Chinese and European production facilities. The cost of the project is estimated at $30 billion and is situated on 80 ha.
