According to a decision of the coordinating council for the development of investment operations for Stavropol, the area of Nevinnomyssk industrial park will be expanded from 206 ha to 502 ha. The second phase of Nevinnomyssk already has its first potential resident, DerVais Industrial, which will construct an automobile factory. Investment in the project will equal about 4.3 billion rub. ($143 million). The project will be commissioned in 2014.

The project will create 2,500 new jobs. The first 200 ha of the industrial park have been completely developed by investors. Ten factories will be built, creating 1,300 jobs. The Ministry of Economic Development and the Investment Fund of the Russian Federation have allocated 1.362 billion rub. ($45.4 million) for creating and developing the infrastructure of the industrial park. The site of Nevinnomyssk's administration is providing an on-line translation from the park's construction site. The city's mayor, Sergei Batynyuk, says that the industrial park will attract about 40 billion rub ($1.3 billion) of investments and create 16,000 new jobs. Tax receipts from the residents might equal as much as 3.5 billion rubles ($116.6 million) per year. The annual production of the park's residents will equal 40 million rub. ($1.3 million).
